It’s that time of year again: back to school! Though all of us at Rogue Heart are quite a few years removed from the classroom, we’re in the spirit this year as we tackle two school video projects in tandem. In addition to editing a giant video project for Whitworth University’s 125th Anniversary, we were inlisted to create an inspirational video for the Central Valley School District of Spokane Valley (CVSD).
The Superintendent at Central Valley School District, Ben Small, is something of a visionary. He and his team of educators are doing some amazing things in their district, and he wanted a video that would capture his team’s accomplishments as well as inspire them to raise the bar even more in the coming school year. They needed a quick turnaround for this project, and we were able to accommodate. From initial meeting to final delivery, we had less than a month to complete the project.
The seventeen minute video contained thoughtful interviews with staff and community members, spirited graphics, and cover footage of multiple campuses and student activities. It was screened at the staff’s Welcome Back Breakfast on September 2nd and it was a huge hit.
Central Valley School District’s greatest strength is their caring and dedicated staff, and they wanted their community to get to know them better. Working with the Superintendent and the Director of Communications at Central Valley School District, we created a series of Web videos for them to use on their website and on social media to connect with their community.
